The Deuling Family

We are Luke and Heather Deuling, the proud owners of Blackstone Outfitters. Together with our two young sons, George and Andrew, we share a deep passion for the outdoors, hunting, and the pristine beauty of the Yukon.

Luke spent nearly a decade working alongside Jim and Adrienne Fink at Blackstone Outfitters, where he honed his skills in guiding and outfitting. Although he transitioned to a career in construction, Luke’s love for the wilderness never waned. Whether hunting with friends or family, there’s nothing more rewarding to him than introducing someone to the thrill of their first hunt.

Heather, a lifelong Yukoner, grew up fishing and camping in this stunning region. With nearly a decade of experience working for the Yukon Government, she has a deep connection to the land. Since meeting Luke, Heather has fully embraced the world of hunting, successfully harvesting several sheep, elk, caribou, and moose along the way.

Growing our family has only fueled our love for adventure. In fact, our son George was part of our moose harvest when he was just 11 months old! Both boys are already eager participants in hunting season and have their own growing collection of hunting stories to share.

We are truly grateful to operate our business in one of the Yukon’s premier hunting areas. The remote location offers abundant wildlife with minimal hunting pressure, creating the perfect environment for an unforgettable adventure.
